Dr. Edward Callus is a Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapy Trainer with a PhD focusing on the psychosocial aspects of adults with congenital heart disease. He joined the University of Milan in 2018 and has since progressed to a tenure-track research position. His career started in 2007 at the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato in the Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery department. Over time, he expanded his collaborative work across various departments, leading to his current role as the Director of the Clinical Psychology Service since 2016. Dr. Callus also served on the board of the European Congenital Heart Disease Organisation for 9 years, spending 2 of those years as President.
