Elin Hjorth-Johansen is a Neonatal Intensive Care nurse who works at Oslo University Hospital (OUH) in Norway. She has worked with e learning about CHD to nurses, and information and discharge preparation for parents with infants with congenital heart disease since 2011. Together with a multidisciplinary team from OUH, she has developed a digital tool to prepare parents for discharge from hospital and to support them at home. Her ongoing PhD work is to evaluate how such an application is accepted, feasible and usable to parents and their infants.
