My research is funded by the Swedish Heart-Lung Foundation and focuses on the transition from pediatric to adult care and the long-term effects of a transition program. In particular, I am dedicated to developing and evaluating programs that facilitate this transition and empower adolescents with chronic illnesses to assume responsibility for their care, actively participate in decision making, acquire more knowledge and develop their critical thinking. As senior lecturer, I am primarily dedicated to teaching quantitative research methods and statistics to nursing students at the bachelor's and master's levels. Additionally, I am involved in doctoral courses.
